Different House....Long story!

Ok...The inspection on the other house was not good so we had to start all over! We decided to go with a new home so we found a builder and they had a spec on the ground! WE LOVE THIS HOUSE! We have a wonderful view of all of Aledo and Fort Worth. It is about 2900 sq feet it also has a game room upstairs that is not finished out. So that adds some more square footage. They still have to put carpet and finish the sprinkler system and put in a yard. So here it is and it is a done deal we signed the papers this morning...So get ready to come visit we have the room!

Sunday night

Sunday night we drove to Grandbury which is about 30 minutes from Fort Worth. We were told they have the best fried chicken in Texas! We ate at Babes Chicken Dinner House. The food is served family style they also sang and danced. The kids did the hokey pokey and the chicken dance. George has decided that this is his new favorite restaurant. We went with our new friends Glen, Jennifer, Madox, and Mallory.

Mimi flew into Fort Worth!

My mom flew into DFW Airport on Thursday to see us! We have been having a great time. Her flight was very short and sweet she said. As soon as I picked her up we went to the Hulen Mall here in Fort Worth it reminds me of North Star Mall in San Antonio. Today Friday, we took Koby to tennis camp in Aledo and then we drove around the town. I wanted to show mom the great town we will be living in. We drove by the house that we put a contract on. Yes, we put a contract on that house you saw before...I hope everything goes good. If everything works out the way it is suppose to we will be closing on July 31st! Yea! I can't wait to get in it. After we picked Koby up today we drove to Grandbury which is about 25 minutes away from Aledo. Mom wanted to see the Morrison that has the fantastic showroom. Then we drove to Weatherford to George's home office. I didn't think Weatherford was that big...Man was I wrong. It took us 40 minutes to get from one side of town to the other because of the traffic. I don't really think Weatherford is that big but it sure has a lot of people in it. I really thought something had to be going on in the town. When we got to the office all of employees said oh..you don't drive downtown. I said now you tell me! After that we drove back to Aledo and got a pedicure and manicure and got Koby's hair cut. Here are a few pictures of our day!

Looking for a House,,,Chapter I

Today was a long day to say the least! First things first, I woke up to someone pounding on my door...little did I know it was two people. My friendly neighbors woke me up screaming that our sprinkler was on in the backyard and they informed me that I needed turn it off immediately! Needless to say nice always friendly Shellie was no where to be found. I was very upset and I told them "What is the big deal?" Well, I guess the entire Condo shares the water bill...how crazy is that! So I guess we are to let the grass die. And if that wasn't enough I walked outside the back to turn off the sprinkler and my puppy followed to go tinkle. Which normally would not be a big deal but, Koby walked out with us and YES the door shut right behind him! Can you guess what just happened? Yep, the door locked behind us! So think about this I just got woke up so yes I am in my PJ's with yes no bra. My phone is on the table inside the house and I am in a new city with mean neighbors so I can't ask to use the phone. So what am I suppose to do? CRY....CRY....CRY and that's just what I did! And I know I locked the front door or did I? So Koby ran around the front of the house and God must have been looking at me because it was unlocked! So that is how the day got started.

I had to meet Cindy Wallis our Realtor at 10am in Willow Park which is out of Aledo. We looked at about twelve homes today. I found one I really liked or as she put I rated it a 10! I don't like looking at houses I have decided..but the hunt must go on. I will look at another fifteen starting at 10 in the morning. Wish Koby and I luck! I feel sorry for him he hates looking at houses too! Miss all of you!

We made it!

Well, we are in Fort worth! We left at 1:30pm and got here at 6:30 yesterday. It took us so long because we had a blow out on the cargo trailer right outside of Austin. The traffic was horrible and we were in the middle lane by the concrete barrier. I was so scared! I kept asking GOD to just get us out of there. Some how George changed the tire so fast. This is our Condo we are staying in for the next couple of months. I will show more pictures of the inside in the next couple of days. We have stuff everywhere and it looks really bad. Miss all of you!

Crazy Month

Ok...I have not blogged in an entire month! That's so bad. Lots of things going on. If you have been going to any of my friends or my sisters blogs you can tell we have been having loads of fun since we have been back to New Braunfels! I missed my sister, parents , and our friends so much! If you haven't gone and looked at the blogs you should ...lots of fun pictures.

So on to the biggest news of all....drum roll...WE ARE MOVING AGAIN!!!!! HELP ME!!!

Morrison Supply George's old company who he had been with for eight years called him as soon as we got back to town. They offered him a great position that he could not turn down. The only down side is we have to move to Fort Worth and when I say move I mean fast! We have only known about this for two weeks and he will start his job on Monday. So needless to say we are crazy and I mean out of our minds. Or at least I am! I am good with change but I need at least a couple of months to let things soak in. I want to thank Mom, Dad, Ashlee, and George's parents for being so supportive. They really have been great. I thought we would have tears after tears but they have all been very good. Well, we all had one break down already! We are going to rent a Condo for a couple of months until we find a home. We looked at the Condo today and we put money down. It's very nice and has a two car garage. We didn't have to sign a lease so that's very good. I will let everyone know as soon as we get a house so you can all come visit...YEA Right..no one is going to come see us! I hope I am wrong. We will see who comes first. Talk to you all soon..wish us luck house hunting.
